The Library of T. Ruśkiewicz
The Polish electrical engineer Tomasz Ruśkiewicz (1867–1926) gathered in his library Polish memoir and historiographic literature of the 19th and early 20th centuries, including many memoirs and documents related to Polish uprisings. There are several multi-volume works that are particularly interesting, such as Adam Naruszewicz’s Historia narodu polskiego (Leipzig 1836–1837), Kasper Niesiecki’s Herbarz polski (Leipzig 1839–1845), Teodor Żychliński’s Złota księga szlachty polskiej (Poznań 1879–1889), and Słownik geograficzny Królestwa Polskiego (Warsaw 1880–1902).
