Guided tours open again

The Astronomical Tower and the Baroque Library (guided tour) was newly opened on 1 April 2023.

A unique sightseeing tour through a part of the Klementinum, the former Jesuit college, takes you to the top of the Astronomical Tower. A guided tour will bring you to the Baroque Library Hall, one of the world´s most beautiful libraries. The next stop is the Meridian Room on the 3rd floor, equipped with two mural quadrants and a period mechanism to determine the noon. The highlight of the tour is the ascent to the gallery, from which the noon was signalled by waving a flag. The gallery offers the most beatiful view of the historical centre of Prague and the Lesser Town across the Vltava River to the Prague Castle.
