The Medieval Book at your Fingertips
March 13 – 24, 2013

Opening ceremony

This unique exhibition features the work of the Tempus Libri company to the wide public. The company is specialised in producing artistic copies of rare historical originals, the so-called facsimiles. The edition of such facsimiles is low, usually less than 200 copies. The quality of workmanship, choice of materials and corresponding compliance with the original is supervised by its owners or professional managers, who provided reproduction rights to make a facsimile.

Thanks to the exhibited facsimiles, the visitors have a unique opportunity to become familiar with rare manuscripts and incunabula otherwise inaccessible, they will even be allowed to have a look at them and browse through.
