National Library of the Czech Republic - Slavonic Library organised a discussion with journalist and literary historian Ivan Tolstoy on the occasion of the publication of his new monograph Chranitěli nasledstva (Prague, 2023), which is dedicated to the famous "Litereaturnoye nasledstvo" series published in Moscow since 1931. The National Library of the Czech Republic - Slavonic Library and the Prague collective "Будет толк" organized a discussion on the occasion of the Czech publication of the book "My Russia. News from a Lost Land" with the author, prominent independent Russian journalist and LGBTQ+ activist Yelena Kostyuchenko and translator and journalist Libor Dvorak. National Library of the Czech Republic - Slavonic Library and Будет толк organized a meeting with the writer Andrei Ivanov (Tallinn) dedicated to his novel about Russian emigration The Moths of Kharbin (2013), which took place on 16 October 2024 at 5 pm in the Klementinum meeting room, 1st floor. In his novel, Andrei Ivanov focuses on the theme of Russian fascism, popular in the 1920s and 1930s in the milieu of Russian emigration.
