Invitation - Photogallery - Opening ceremony
The exhibition commemorating 100th birthday anniversary of an artist, grahic designer and illustrator. A selection of works from a private collection of Ladislav Janouch was prepared by the Archive of Fine Arts. The displayed books will be accompanied by illustrations, three-dimensional cards, pop-up folders, book jackets, and graphic sheets. Featured is also the Klementinum set from 1945.

Tuesday to Sunday: 10.30 am – 6 pm
Entrance fee: adults 50 CZK; seniors, students, groups over 10 persons 40 CZK, children 6-16 years 20 CZK; children up to 6 years free.
Myths and Legends of Greenland
August 11 - September 11, 2014
The touring exhibition features illustrations by Martin Velíšek for the selection of Greenland´s mythological stories, tales, legends and songs, translated in Czech by Zdeněk and Viola Lyčka and published by Argo in 1998 and 2007. To accompany the exhibition, the National Library of the CR organizes a lecture series given by the curator of the exhibion, Zdeněk Lyčka, the former Czech Ambassador to Denmark - for more see here.
