Codex 1085 – The Manuscript in Detail
22 April –12 June, 2022
The exhibition features works of the students of the Graphic School in Prague, specialized in Conservation and Restoration program. Education also includes the production of facsimiles of medieval illuminated manuscript and artificial copies of historical bookbindings.
Displayed are copies of folios of the Codex of Vyšehrad, a very rare manuscript related to the Czech history, kept in the collections of the National Library of the CR. A facsimile copy of the codex will be available to visitors for browsing through it.

The Future in Bubbles 2. The Exhibition of Comics Inspired by Stanisław Lem´s Work

To commemorate the last-year 100th birth anniversary of renowned Polish writer and futurologist Stanisław Lem the Polish Institute in Prague announced an open comics competition for Czech artists, inspired by Lem´s famous stories and novels. The display presents the best works as well as the the life and work of S. Lem and film adaptations of his works.

Czech and Baltic Century - Literature
7 April – 7 May 2022
The exhibition presents the long and rich tradition of literary translations from Baltic languages in the Czech lands and the history of more than a century of mutual diplomatic relations.
