On the occassion of the 100th birth anniversary of a well-known Czech painter and illustrator, the National Library of the CR in association with Společnost TROUP 2017 presents a survey of his rich graphic work that originated between the1930s and the 1980s. Troup illustrated over 140 historical books, legends, exotic texts and also children´s literature.

The exhibition presenting a survey of extensive photographic work of Alfred Šupík. Mostly black-and-white pictures show beauties of nature from different parts of the world, where he lived during his business or private trips. They relativize our ideas of homeland. The precisely processed images are full of peace and harmony, they capture the magic of the moment.
