The exhibition, organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Czech Republic, presents rich cultural traditions and contemporary culture related to Persian and Ottoman origins.

The Roma Holocaust in Latvia during the Nazi Occupation in 1941-1945

The exhibition, organised in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia to the Czech Republic, presents the troubled life of the Roma on the territory of Latvia during World War II. After the invasion of the Nazis, all the Roma were concentrated in the cities Rezekno, Ludza and Vilaň. The Nazis killed 1500 Latvian Roma people in systematic torture and mass executions in the woods.

Traditional Tibetan Books and Paintings

Opening ceremony - Photogallery
The display features traditional Tibetan book culture and sacred paintings from the 1st half of the 20th century. Printed documents, thangkas, wooden printing blocks, and votive objects come from the private collections in Ladakh, Tibet, Mongolia and Nepal. Admission fee 10 CZK (free for the NL readers).
