The Nativity Scenes in the Klementinum

November 23, 2016 – January 8, 2017 The Klementinum Gallery (gate B2)
DAILY: 9 am – 6 pm; on December 24 and 31: 9 am – 3 pm

Admission: adults CZK 50 / children, students and senior citizens CZK 30 / free: children up to 5 years, ZTP card holders and teachers accompanying a school group

The traditional exhibition, organised in association with the Museum of Nativity Scenes in Karlštejn, features nativity scenes from the Baroque period up to the end of World War II. Displayed are wooden nativity scenes from most major regions of our country, as well as painted nativity scenes made of paper, and the unique historical ones made of sugar, wax, clay, plaster, duroline or period platic.  Visitors can join the Playful Workshops and create there figures of marzipan by designs or their own fantasy.
